This is a heavy duty tool for serious cleaning. The flat spiral steel blade features sharp cutting edges on both the front and the back edges to cut and slice in both direction. The sharp front angles point will bore through obstructions and stoppages and the tapered cone-like shape for the tool holds roots, paper and rags tightly while pulling them back to the manhole. Augers are always great for turning over sand and agitating hard packed dirt and mud and grease. Gets the flow going. These come in size 3" pipe size and are for your sectional or continuous sewer rod.
